Our Corrugated Iron and TrimDek Saddles, and our Trims are made from strong 0.55mm steel. Saddles (or “clips”) and are the best way to secure the mesh to most iron roofs, and are available in every current Colorbond colour.
The Corrugated Iron saddles, also known as Custom Orb saddles, are meticulously designed to conform to the contours of corrugated iron roofing. Each saddle features a "wing" that extends into the troughs of the corrugations for enhanced fit. When used on standard or box gutters, approximately 7 saddles per meter are required, positioned on every second corrugation. In contrast, for valley installations where the roof sheeting is angled, saddles should be placed on each corrugation, requiring about 21 saddles per meter to ensure comprehensive coverage.
The TrimDek Saddles are specifically crafted for placement on each rib of a TrimDek Roof. The design incorporates wings that press the mesh firmly into the pan of the roofing sheet, effectively preventing debris from entering the gutters and ensuring optimal protection. When used on standard or box gutters, approximately 6 saddles per meter are required, positioned on every rib.
