Nylon Solar Mesh Clips

Description

Nylon solar mesh clips are available separately for replacement fixings, additional coverage and trade installations. Supplied with washers, they secure solar mesh to compatible solar-panel frames to help hold the perimeter barrier in place. Used with correctly fitted mesh, they support a perimeter barrier that helps reduce access by birds, possums and rats and limits debris build-up beneath the panels.

UV-stabilised Nylon 66 with 30% glass-fibre reinforcement

Our solar mesh clips combine UV-stabilised Nylon 66 with 30% glass-fibre reinforcement (GF30). The glass fibres increase strength and stiffness compared with unreinforced Nylon 66, helping the clips retain their shape under load. Added UV stabilisation helps resist deterioration caused by sunlight—an important consideration for exposed Australian rooftop installations. Together, these properties support a firm, stable fixing for solar mesh on compatible panel frames.

Purchase individual clips for smaller jobs or select a 25-unit pack for larger requirements. Our standard 30 metre kit includes 100 clips and washers; the quantity needed for your installation depends on the array layout, frame profile and fixing requirements.

Solar-panel frame profiles vary, so check that the clips suit your panels before ordering. Follow the installation instructions and the panel manufacturer’s requirements when fitting the mesh.
